FINALLY. I’ve been waiting for a post like this on my dash, because what a load of absolute BULLSHIT.
To all of you that believe CrossFit gives you no gains, or that our pull-ups look like “Flappy Bird”, and to all of you that reblog things like this thinking that CrossFit is a joke: unfollow me, NOW. Because let me tell you, this is a load of crap.
I tried everything. Gym memberships, running, yoga, etc. and never did I see gains. But when I began CrossFit? I dropped over twenty pounds of fat and gained ten pounds of muscle.
Still don’t believe me?
Google the name Rich Froning. Y’all reblog him all the time and talk about no gains? How about Jason Khalipa? Weighing it at 215 and only at a height of 5’9”? I know guys who would KILL for his body, and you say CrossFit has no gains? These two men considered some of the FITTEST ON EARTH do CrossFit, and y’all talk about “no gains”.
CrossFit’s ideology is that you aren’t just able to lift the most weight, you aren’t just able to sprint the fastest, you aren’t just able to walk on your hands: you can do it all.
Sure, there are men out there that can lift heavier: but you can run faster.
Sure, there are women out there that can run faster: but you can lift heavier.
CrossFitters are the most well rounded athlete, and I’d LOVE to see you guys—calling CrossFitters “pussies” and “fakes” and saying our pull-ups are “cheating” and that we make “no gains”—to compete with some top notch CrossFitters, because you would not stack up.
Do NOT EVER bash on someone’s exercise routines, or for me and many others, their way of life. Instead, sit down and watch the CrossFit Games. Look at Rich Froning, Jason Khalipa, 19 year-old Cody Anderson, and for the women: Andrea Ager, Julie Foucher, Stacie Tovar, Lauren Fisher, etc.
You reblog these people DAILY yet bash on the CrossFit name when they make a living off the sport.
Oh, and for all you “true lifters” out there, here’s a picture of Andrea Ager (CrossFitter) and DMITRY FUCKING KLOKOV at the CROSSFIT Games. Fuck off.
Tfw they don’t get swole from doing wods and not natty.
Read that if you think top crossfitters are making those gains natty.
The biggest problem I have ever had with Crossfitters is them talking down to me. I don’t mind what they do, but when someone walks up to me and says I’m wasting my time because I’m doing the their elite routines I’m 100% done with them.
